Su-35S crews of the Russian Air Force performed combat duty in the border area of the Kursk Region

Crews of Su-35S fighter jets of the Russian Air and Space Forces have performed combat duty in the border area of the Kursk Region. The Russian Defense Ministry publishes footage of the combat work on December 1.

In the course of the mission, radiation from the enemy's air defense radar station was detected.

The purpose of the duty is to cover the actions of bomber and attack aircraft, as well as army aviation aircraft when striking military facilities and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Earlier, on December 1, the Defense Ministry published footage of Su-35S fighter crews performing air cover in the border area of Kursk Region.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The operation to destroy the militants continues.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
