Novosibirsk police detained suspected kidnappers


Police officers in Novosibirsk detained a group of attackers on suspicion of kidnapping a young man. This was reported on December 3 in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
"The day before to the police with a message about the missing 20-year-old son appealed to the resident of the Leninsky district of the regional center. Dealing with the circumstances of the incident, detectives have established that a group of local residents aged 23 and 24 are involved in the disappearance of the young man," - stated in the message of the Department in its Telegram-channel.
Men on the car tracked down the victim, made sure that no one sees them, forcibly put him in the trunk and demanded 600 thousand rubles, and then took away. The police managed to find out that the kidnappers left in a rented car, which had a GPS tracker. This helped to locate the car, detain the attackers and release the victim.
A criminal case under part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Kidnapping of a person") was initiated against the suspects.
Earlier, on November 30, the Moscow Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia opened a criminal case against a man who kidnapped two teenage acquaintances. First, he met them in a shopping center, threatening them with a gun, and extorted 120 thousand rubles. Then the Muscovite took the children to the sports stadium, shot in the air and demanded to give him the money by December 5. The attacker was detained and charged under paragraphs "c", "d", "d", "g", "g", "h" of part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Kidnapping") and part 1 of article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Extortion").
