The Rostov regional court has sentenced two residents of Zaporizhzhya Region to 15 years in prison for espionage in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on December 3 by the press service of the FSSB of Russia in the Southern Military District.

"The defendants were sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with serving their sentences in penal colonies: V.D. Meshnyakov - strict regime, N.N. Galka - general regime," - stated in the message.

It is specified that Nonna Galka received an assignment from her son, who is a serviceman of the AFU, to give him information about the locations of the Russian Armed Forces units in Zaporizhzhya region. The woman attracted Victor Meshnyakov to the criminal activity. As a result, in August 2022, the man transferred the necessary information via Telegram.

Earlier, on December 2, the resident of Yalta was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony for the transfer to the special services of Ukraine data on the radar surveillance and guidance complex in Sochi. It is reported that the trial was held in closed mode.
