Yaroslavl resident arrested for calls to blow up Kerch Bridge and Kursk NPP


In Yaroslavl a man was detained who called for the Kerch Bridge and Kursk nuclear power plant (NPP) to be blown up. This was reported on December 3 in the press service of the FSS of Russia in Yaroslavl region.
The agency said that a 58-year-old resident of Yaroslavl spread calls on the Internet. He was detained at the place of residence, reports "Lenta.ru".
It is specified that a criminal case was initiated against the man under part 2 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls for the implementation of terrorist activity, public justification of terrorism using the Internet").
Now the defendant is in custody, the investigators are continuing the investigation.
Earlier, on October 26, the FSB officers in Donetsk detained a Russian woman who tried to commit a terrorist act with the use of an improvised explosive device. The resident of Volnovakha had been following a law enforcement officer for six months on the assignment of the Ukrainian security services and made an explosive device on her own, intending to subsequently carry out a remote detonation.
