The AFU lost more than 300 soldiers in the Kursk region over the day


The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kursk Region amounted to more than 300 military personnel over the day. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on December 3.
"Over the day the losses of the AFU amounted to more than 300 servicemen. Two tanks were destroyed, four infantry fighting vehicles, including two Bradley made in the United States," the ministry said in a statement.
In addition, 17 armored fighting vehicles, 14 vehicles, three artillery pieces and six mortars of the enemy were destroyed.
In the areas of Alexandria, Viktorovka, Kurilovka and other settlements in the Kursk region, units of the "North" group of forces hit AFU formations. In Sumy region, near Agronom, Guevo and Makhnovka, the Russian army defeated the militants' manpower and equipment with strikes of operational-tactical and army aviation.
Earlier in the day, Rosgvardia special forces eliminated AFU manpower, military equipment and fortifications in the border area of Kursk Region. A Rosgvardia fire team with tank support decisively attacked the AFU, destroying a network of dugouts, a cellar with militants, a stronghold with a large-caliber machine gun, two automatic grenade launcher (AGS) calculations and a Ukrainian army FPV drone calculation.
Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of the AFU units invading the Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
