Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. You can track the progress of the joint troops of Russia, the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR), as well as see a map of military operations as of December 3 in the Izvestiya piece.

Units of the Southern Group of Forces liberated the village of Romanovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, while units of the Vostok Group of Forces took control of Novodorovka in the Zaporizhzhya region. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost up to 555 people in the zone of responsibility of the Central group of troops.

The Defense Ministry also said that the units of the grouping of troops "Dnipro" defeated the manpower and equipment of the 124th and 126th brigades of theater defense in the areas of Molodezhnoye and Nikolskoye in the Kherson region. The enemy lost up to 60 military personnel.

In addition, operational-tactical aviation, attack drones, missile troops and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces' groups of troops hit energy facilities that support the work of Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises, the infrastructure of military airfields, as well as concentrations of enemy manpower and military equipment in 142 areas.

In turn, air defense forces shot down 40 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones, including four outside the area of the special military operation.

In total, 649 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 37,122 unmanned aerial vehicles, 586 anti-aircraft missile systems, 19,600 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,497 multiple rocket launchers, 18,897 field artillery and mortars, 28,957 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special operation.
