Two residents of Khabarovsk lost more than 2.2 million roubles because of fraudsters. The police have instituted criminal proceedings in each case.

The first victim was an employee of a construction and installation organization. He was looking for opportunities for additional income on the Internet. The man found information about an "investment company" that offered high interest with weekly payments. The victim made an account and transferred more than 1.45 million rubles to an unauthorized account. About it reports IA AmurMedia.

With a 60-year-old man the swindlers communicated on behalf of the social insurance fund. The scammers promised the victim to recalculate his work record and make an appointment with the pension fund. Then they said that three loans were issued in the man's name. Khabarovichan agreed to issue his own loan in the amount of more than 750 thousand rubles.

In Moscow, fraudsters stole from an 82-year-old pensioner 24 million rubles. The attackers persuaded the man to sell his apartment and hand the money over to a courier.
