Two men fell through the ice on a pond in Moscow

Two men fell through the ice on a pond in the east of Moscow. As a result of the incident, one of the victims died. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the capital on December 3.

It is specified that the incident occurred on the same day in Novogireevo. Two men went out on the thin ice of the reservoir to shorten the way to residential houses, but fell under the water.

The footage shows the men trying to crawl on the ice a few meters from the shore, trying to hold on, but falling through the water. Passers-by tried to help the victims by throwing them a construction pipe. However, only one of the men managed to save himself.

"Unfortunately, the second man could not be pulled out," - indicated in the Telegram-channel of the Moscow emergency Ministry.

At the moment the victim is under the care of doctors.

Earlier, on November 17, it was reported that in the Irkutsk region on the river Vitim car with three people fell through the ice. The driver and one of the passengers managed to leave the sinking car, another passenger - a 31-year-old woman - drowned.
