Successful adaptation to sanctions by Russian enterprises is evidenced by the fact that they have started to look for suppliers abroad more often. This is stated in the results of a survey conducted by the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), which were presented to Izvestia on December 3. In the spring of 2024, there were 48.1% of such companies, while for the same period last year - 34.4%, the experts noted.

In addition, the share of companies that are restructuring production remains at a fairly high level (31.3%).

"Many foreign manufacturers have returned to Russian markets. If in the spring of 2023 only 5.6% of respondents reported about the growth of competition from producers from far abroad, then in the spring of 2024 - already 23.9%," - also emphasized the RAS.

In addition, the share of Russian companies that believe that the imposition of sanctions has entailed not only negative but also positive consequences, increased from 20.8% in the spring of 2022 to 29.1% this year.

Earlier, on December 2, it was reported that 63.7% of Russian companies announced the presence of current investment projects in the spring of 2024 (51.2% in the same period last year). This is the maximum level for the last 10 years, follows from the data of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In addition, while in 2023, 40% of respondents planned to start new projects within one or two years, in the spring of 2024 the share of such responses increased to 49.6%, the RAS noted.
