- A Russian Armed Forces fighter who had been holding a foothold for three weeks told about the AFU's attempts to capture him

The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) did not spare their captured soldiers in an attempt to defeat Russian soldier Zakarya Aliyev, who held a stronghold alone for three weeks. A Russian army fighter told about this on December 3.
Aliyev captured five AFU fighters in the stronghold, and the Ukrainian military, in order to eliminate the Russian, attacked the dugout with drones, almost immediately killing all the captives. The Russian army fighter recalls that the Ukrainians attacked with 10-15 drones.
"They don't care, they don't spare their own either. When I stayed there alone and took other prisoners, I approached another stronghold, a dugout, I said: come out. They started to come out, dropped their weapons and were shot so that they would not come closer to me, they were coming in my direction without automatic weapons," Aliyev told IA Regnum.
In just three weeks, during which the Russian defended the dugout alone, the AFU killed 10 of its soldiers trying to take Aliyev prisoner. While in his position, the Russian fighter improvised: digging "fox holes" and moving through a network of tunnels to survive bombardments. At first, Aliyev was scared when his stronghold was attacked by the Ukrainian military, but then he began to feel interested when they attacked.
"It's no big deal, the main thing is not to be bored," Aliyev shared.
After a week of defense, the fighter ran out of food, and hunger made the military man look into the eyes of fear, but he coped with this ordeal as well: Aliyev drank hydrogen peroxide and painkillers he had with him, and it helped dull his hunger. In addition, one day the man decided to attack the AFU fighters himself and came across their sacks of onions, which he managed to stockpile.
Aliyev added that in the dugout he was thinking about his mother and hoped that she would not find out where he was: the military man did not want her to worry.
Aliyev's rescue became known on November 9. After three weeks of defense in the dugout, scouts of the Alania Battalion were able to locate Aliyev with the help of a drone, after which they evacuated the serviceman. The head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, called Aliyev a hero.
Later, on November 13, he said that he communicated with the Alania fighters who rescued him with the help of posters and notes that the military dropped from drones in bottles. The battalion fighters took Aliyev out of the dangerous area with the help of drones.
