Schoolgirl in Khimki commits suicide due to bullying by classmates

In Khimki near Moscow, a girl committed suicide after accusing her classmates of bullying. About it on Tuesday, December 3, reported the source of "Izvestia".

According to him, the body of the 11-year-old was found on December 2, along with a note. In it, the girl said that classmates allegedly bullied her because of her tall stature.

It is specified that the child studied in the fifth grade, the family of the girl is not on the account. Parents reported the absence of conflicts and that the daughter did not voice depressive thoughts.

Earlier, on September 23, Maria Lvova-Belova, Presidential Ombudsman for Children's Rights, said that she had received more than 240 appeals about child bullying this year. The ombudsman expressed the opinion that it is necessary to develop a unified algorithm of actions in such situations. which will allow parents and teachers to respond correctly and minimize the negative consequences.
