VTB announced the completion of the integration of retail clients of Otkrytie

About 2.5 million retail clients of Otkritie will be transferred to VTB by the end of December. This was announced by Georgy Gorshkov, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB, on the eve of the investment forum "Russia Calling!".

"Today we are on the finishing line of the largest integration in the history of the domestic banking market. Millions of Otkritie's clients have already joined VTB's team," Gorshkov noted.

Active integration of Otkritie's retail clients into VTB began at the end of May 2024. There was no need to re-issue debit and payroll cards for this purpose. All terms and conditions of the current loan product agreements, including interest rates, for Otkritie's clients remained unchanged.

In the course of the two-year integration, the banks fully merged Otkritie's retail loan portfolio (770 billion rubles) and savings portfolio (over 940 billion rubles). 80% of customers this year took advantage of the online transfer service, during which it was possible to transfer funds to VTB "in one click".
