Financial Director of the Piket Group of Companies Victoria Antonova, who is a defendant in the case of supplying the Ministry of Defense with substandard body armor, is cooperating with the investigation. This is stated in court materials.
"V.P. Antonova does not intend to hide, cooperates with the investigation," - quotes an excerpt from the document on December 3 "RIA Novosti".
The text indicates that Antonova and her lawyer objected to her arrest, as she also has a dependent young child and a mother suffering from diseases.
Basmanny court of Moscow granted the petition of the investigation and extended Antonova's arrest until March 2025. She is accused of fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code) and bribery (part 5 of article 291 of the Criminal Code).
Earlier, December 1, it was reported that another defendant in the case - director of organizational direction of "ConceptAviaprom" Vyacheslav Portyannikov - began to cooperate with the investigation. He is accused of mediation in bribery on a large scale.
On April 6, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested Andrei Yesipov, general director of Piket Group of Companies LLC, who was accused of supplying low-quality body armor to the Russian army. A criminal case was opened under part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud on a particularly large scale").
In August, it became known that the defendants in the case received at least 2.4 billion rubles from the Ministry of Defense. In the same month it was reported that the organization has shares in the authorized capitals of five companies, owns land plots and has more than 20 bank accounts.
In September, Esipov's involvement in the deliveries was confirmed by witnesses, as well as extracts from financial documents. It was reported that Antonova and Mikhail Kalchenko, head of the security service of the Piket Group of Companies, are on the case. It also became known that one of the defendants in the case pleaded guilty and began to cooperate with the investigation, his name was not disclosed. In early October, Esipov and Antonova were added to the article on bribery.
