EMERCOM employees received TM-140 snowmobiles for work in the Murmansk region

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has received from JSC Kurganmashzavod a new batch of TM-140 snowmobiles for the Murmansk Search and Rescue Unit on the Kola Peninsula. This was reported on December 3 in the press service of the holding company "High-Precision Complexes".

Kurganmashzavod (part of the holding company "High-Precision Complexes" of the state corporation "Rostec") has delivered snowmobiles TM-140 to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. This is the final batch of vehicles this year. The vehicles will be added to the technical fleet of the Murmansk search and rescue team on the Kola Peninsula," the report says.

All-terrain vehicles have high cross-country ability and are designed to work in hard-to-reach areas. They are equipped with a universal cargo platform, which allows to quickly adapt the equipment for different tasks with the help of additional modules.

This year the company has already delivered several batches of TM-140, reminded the representatives of the holding. At the moment these all-terrain vehicles are used by rescuers in the Komi Republic, Arkhangelsk and Murmansk regions.

Earlier, on November 8, it was reported that specialists of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations received a batch of TM-140 all -terrain vehicles for work in the Vorkuta Arctic complex rescue center. Vysokototokhnye kompleks then drew attention to the fact that one all-terrain vehicle carries up to 4 tons of cargo, has a range of 550 km, and the vehicle has a comfortable interior with a heating system and low noise level.
