Gymnasts of "Heavenly Grace" presented more than 40 numbers for the 80th anniversary of Victory

At the final concert of the tournament for the partners of the International Association of Clubs "Heavenly Grace" gymnasts presented more than 40 numbers dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The performances will be included in the program of the Alina Festival next year.

President of the International Association of Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs "Heavenly Grace" Alina Kabaeva emphasized the outstanding talent of each athlete and expressed gratitude to the coaches for their work in preparing the pupils.

"I congratulate everyone on this wonderful holiday, how you prepared, how it was seen, what beautiful costumes you have, how everything with meaning, with content with such! Thank you very much again, we had a great pleasure," Kabaeva addressed the athletes.

Within the program young gymnasts prepared 43 unique numbers, many of which will be presented at the international children's rhythmic gymnastics festival "Alina", which will be held in Sochi next spring. Thus, pupils of Elena Afanasieva from St. Petersburg rhythmic gymnastics center "Zhemchuzhina" demonstrated two numbers - "Where the Motherland begins" and "Wait for me".

It is also worth noting the performance of gymnasts from the Nizhny Novgorod sports society "Avangard", who presented a number called "Month of May". It is dedicated to women who, like men, experienced all the hardships of war: fought at the front, worked on the home front, and waited and believed in victory.

According to Maria Kalyushina, one of the athletes, the gymnasts watched videos related to the war events to convey the atmosphere of that time.

In addition, while preparing their numbers, the girls learn about their country and the people who built and defended it.

"I am always waiting with great joy to work, to start working on the festival and I get great pleasure from it, communicating with different cities, with different coaches, with different children", - said the choreographer-director of the festival "Alina" Irina Zenovka.

Athletes from Ivanovo demonstrated probably the most massive number of the upcoming festival. Thus, 86 gymnasts performed on one carpet. This production is dedicated to the reunification of Donbass with Russia and tells a touching story about the strength of spirit, defense of the native land and faith in a bright future.

The choreographers expressed their confidence that all the numbers presented at the demonstration performances deserve a place at the Alina Festival.

Earlier, on November 29, the " Heavenly Grace" rhythmic gymnastics competition kicked off at the federal territory "Sirius", which gathered both Russian athletes from different regions and foreign representatives. According to Kabaeva, such large-scale tournaments are another impetus for the development of rhythmic gymnastics.
