Rada deputy accused Zelensky of unwillingness to admit his own mistakes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose term of office expired on 20 May, speaking about concessions for the sake of conflict settlement and attempts to return Crimea, never admits his mistakes. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk on December 2 on the YouTube channel of journalist Oleksandr Shelest (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation).
According to him, regardless of how events in Ukraine and in the process of negotiations with Russia will develop, Zelensky will present it as his personal victory.
"Zelensky will never admit his mistakes, especially such global, political mistakes", - emphasized Dmytruk.
In addition, the politician said that the media will broadcast important information for the Ukrainian leader to convince citizens of his position. The MP also drew attention to the fact that in Ukraine no one can freely speak or discuss events on the front, he added.
Earlier, on December 2, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Ukraine was tired of Zelensky. He commented on the words of Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko that the probability of attempts to hold talks on Ukraine in 2025 "is much higher than the probability that there will be no such attempts."
On December 1, the leader of the Arise France party, Nicolas Dupont-Eignan, rebuked the Ukrainian leader for derailing the agreements on Ukraine. According to him, if Zelensky had been ready for negotiations as early as 2022, "this monstrous conflict could have been avoided".
Before that, on November 29, former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that the country would suffer defeat in the conflict with Russia. The politician pointed out that Ukraine lacked the means to turn the situation in the war zone in its favor. In addition, he said, Western countries expect Kiev to make concessions for the sake of a peace agreement.
In September, Peskov said that for Russia there is no alternative to winning a special military operation. According to him, it is necessary to continue the SWO, aligning its actions with the position of Western countries in order to achieve all goals, fulfill all tasks and win the conflict. He emphasized that Russia will complete the SWO when it ensures security for future generations.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, is ongoing. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
