The number of dead residents of the private social center "Rubicon" in Altai Krai has increased to seven. About it on December 3 "Izvestia" reported in the Ministry of health of the region.

"One patient on the night of December 3 died," - reported in the Department.

As specified in the ministry, a total of 24 people are in hospitals, of which in hospital No. 5 in Barnaul "continue treatment of three heavy patients"/ 10 people are in a state of medium severity and another 10 - in a state of mild severity. Another victim, who is in hospital No. 1 in Rubtsovsk, is in a state of mild severity. He is receiving full medical care, added the interlocutor of the publication.

The incident became known on November 28. It was noted that the dead and the injured were recorded signs of poisoning. Later there was information that what happened was associated with acute intestinal infection. The patients were diagnosed with "acute infectious gastroenterocolitis".

The head of the social center was arrested for two months. The man was charged with a crime under part 3 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements"). His wife said that the infection could have been brought in by one of the guests, adding that her husband was on a business trip at the time of the incident.
