Farmers at Moscow fairs send New Year's parcels to the SWO zone

On the eve of the New Year, participants of weekend fairs to support the participants of the special military operation (SMO) prepared parcels with tangerines and sweets to be sent to the combat zone. This was reported on December 3 on the official portal of the Mayor of Moscow.

It is noted that many farmers have relatives and friends are participants of the SWO. For example, a woman from the west of the country, her husband and eldest son participate in the SWO. At the same time, the younger son regularly takes food packages and other necessary things to the fighters.

Also, on New Year's Eve, seasonal fruits and vegetables, smoked and salted meat, canned food and other products will be delivered to residents of border areas.

In addition, one of the participants of the Moscow fairs transfers its products to the soldiers on the border territory and organizes a military field kitchen for the holidays, preparing pilaf and hearty porridge from the products of its own production.

At the same time, participants of the special military operation and their families are given a 10% discount at the capital's fairs and two fish markets "Moscow - on the Wave".

It is specified that in Moscow there are 56 weekend fairs and 71 interregional fairs where you can buy natural vegetables, fruits and berries, as well as products of local farms from more than 40 regions of Russia. Fairgrounds are located near residential complexes, metro stations and public transportation stops.

Earlier, on December 2, the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin said that in Moscow started a charity campaign "Good Christmas tree". Within the framework of this action, which will be held until February 28, it is possible to present a gift to children left without parents, having limited health capabilities or living in low-income families.
