The doctor told about the reasons for the baby crying in his sleep

Restlessness and crying of the child in sleep can be caused by completely different reasons, some of which relate to a particular age. This was reported on December 3 by Ulyana Gureeva, pediatrician at SM-Clinica for Children.
For example, children between the ages of six months and one year may cry at night due to uncomfortable surroundings, teething or separation anxiety. This state of the child is a natural phase for its development, when it realizes that the mother can leave.
Now let's talk about babies between the ages of one and three. Among the possible causes of crying can be, in particular, nightmares. The emergence of new fears from the age of one year is due to the fact that children may experience fears associated with darkness, loneliness or imaginary creatures," - "Gazeta.ru" reports " Gureeva" words.
She also noted fatigue and specified that before going to bed a child at this age should not see too bright light or hear very loud sounds, because it overloads the nervous system and leads to a difficult process of falling asleep and anxious sleep.
Next. The reason for crying in the sleep of children between the ages of three and six years can be nightmares. The child is aware of them, and it is inherent in fear. Or affect emotional experiences, because children in this age range completely change their system of interaction with the world. This causes a special workload of the nervous system.
The doctor also talked about how to respond to the fact that the child began to cry in his sleep.
"How to react to a baby crying in his sleep? Check for obvious causes. Make sure that the baby is in a clean diaper, the room is at a comfortable temperature, and that there are no signs of pain or malaise," the pediatrician specified.
She also urged parents to pay attention to the symptomatology that accompanies night crying. If poor sleep and crying are accompanied by fever, rash or other deterioration of health, it is worth seeing a doctor.
Earlier, on November 22, somnologist of "SM-Clinica" Natalia Zolotareva told that sleepwalking, also known as somnambulism, is a condition in which a person performs complex actions while in a state of sleep. It occurs most often in children, but can also occur in adults. According to research, sleepwalking is often genetically transmitted. If a parent suffers from sleepwalking, the likelihood that the child will also suffer from such episodes is much higher.
