In Volgograd, EMERCOM employees defused a bomb from the Great Patriotic War era


Emergency Situations Ministry employees neutralized a German air bomb from the Great Patriotic War in Volgograd. This was reported on December 3 in the press service of the agency.
"The explosive find was discovered by workers of the enterprise in the north of Volgograd. It was taken to the landfill and detonated," - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It is specified that pyrotechnicians identified the shell as a 250-kilogram aviation high-explosive bomb.
Earlier, on November 1, in the Pskov region eliminated the SC-50 aerial bomb of German production. The munition was found in a forest area near the settlement Uscha-Reka of Nevelsky district. The bomb was identified by the demining team of the search and rescue team from Velikie Luk.
