More than a quarter of all strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) hit peaceful facilities in Kherson Region. This is stated in the report of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik on the Kiev regime's crimes between November 25 and December 1.

"Last week, the number of strikes on civilian objects in the Kherson region increased sharply - more than a quarter of all strikes on civilian objects in the Russian frontline zone," TASS quoted the text of the document as saying.

It is specified that during the week 45 people were injured and 10 killed due to shelling by the AFU militants.

A total of 1,305 munitions of various types were fired at peaceful targets on Russian territory over seven days. The militants also used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and small arms. Most of the weapons used were Western-made.

Earlier, on December 2, it was reported that AFU militants targeted ambulances in Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions three times during the week.

Before that, on November 26, four people were killed as a result of AFU attacks on a passenger bus in Novaya Kakhovka in Kherson region. Seven people were also injured as a result of the incident.

Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, on a daily basis amid the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
