- Russian Permanent Representative to the OPCW rules out Moscow's withdrawal from the organization

Despite the fact that Russia has lost its seat on the executive board of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) for the period from 2025 to 2027, Moscow considers it necessary to retain its membership in the organization to prevent the US and its allies from "privatizing" it completely, Russian Ambassador to the Netherlands and Russia's permanent representative to the OPCW Vladimir Tarabrin explained to Izvestia.
"We will continue to debunk the cases fabricated by the US and its henchmen against the governments of states they do not like," he said.
The ambassador emphasized that Russian diplomats intend to further inform the OPCW member states and provide evidence of the AFU's use of various types of toxic chemicals and chemical agents against civilians, Russian officials and military personnel.
