The fire in the town of Tokmak in Zaporizhzhya region, which broke out after a drone attack, has been extinguished. This was reported on December 2 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"Employees of the Ministry of emergency Situations of Russia liquidated the fire at the automobile filling station in Tokmak", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel of the Ministry of emergency Situations.
It is specified that in extinguishing involved 25 employees of the Emergencies Ministry and eight units of equipment.
About the fire at the gas station in Tokmak became known earlier in the day. The Governor of Zaporizhzhya region Eugene Balitsky reported that the drone attacked the administration of Vasilievka, one of the employees was slightly injured, seven people were also injured.
Later Balitsky reported that six employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were injured as a result of the UAV attack. According to him, the rescuers received burns of varying degrees of severity due to the explosion of a container from an explosive element.
The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
