A new public garden was landscaped on the site of a vacant lot in Uglegorsk

In Uglegorsk (Sakhalin Oblast), a new public garden was created in place of an abandoned vacant lot. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Housing and Utilities.

The new public space appeared on Victory Street near the hockey court. The contractor cleaned the territory and removed garbage, laid flooring, installed swings, benches and gazebos.

According to SakhalinMedia IA, lighting and video surveillance systems were also installed in the park, and a drainage system was arranged.

The space was landscaped within the framework of the federal project "Formation of Comfortable Urban Environment" of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment".
