In the town of Safonovo, Smolensk region, there was a fire at a woodworking plant. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry on December 2.

It is specified that the fire on 1 thousand square meters was extinguished by 10 EMERCOM specialists and four units of equipment. The department did not report about the victims.

Earlier in the day on Vasily Lanovoy Street in Moscow, four people were injured in a fire in a building under construction. It was specified that construction materials caught fire in the building. Emergencies Ministry employees managed to rescue 12 people from the floors above.
