The readiness of the reconstructed overpass on Batareinaya in Irkutsk has reached 39%

In Irkutsk, the reconstruction of the overpass at the Batareinaya station continues, within the framework of which a new bridge is essentially being built over the railroad tracks. The readiness of the object has reached 39%, reports the city administration on Monday, December 2.

According to Vice Mayor Sergei Kladov, the contractor has already installed the main supports and focused on the third one, which is located in the zone of intensive train traffic. The works are carried out during the technological windows, provided by Russian Railways, twice a week.

The contractor at the site is the municipal enterprise "Bridge Operation Service". According to its head Andrei Ponomarev, the device of the third support is carried out on Tuesdays and Fridays. Now the workers are dismantling the underground part of the old support and preparing the excavation for the foundation of the new one.

As IrkutskMedia IA specifies, the adjacent territory has already been laid out and access roads have been organized. In 2025, the contractor intends to lay asphalt on the overpass, which will be the final stage of work.
