Geely eliminated the defect of the Emgrand sedan in Russia

Geely has updated the firmware of Emgrand sedan with automatic transmission. The company has eliminated the problem, which led to "hesitation" of the powertrain at the beginning of the movement, reports Quto.ru on December 2.

Owners of Geely Emgrand with a 122-horsepower engine and 6-band "automatic" complained that after pressing the accelerator pedal, the car froze, and acceleration began only after one or two seconds. Now, thanks to the firmware update, the driving character of the sedan has changed: now the company installs the 105th version of the "software" instead of the originally developed 101st.

It is noted that Emgrand with the new firmware more actively behave when pressing the accelerator pedal, and the transmission "loved" high gears. To update the owners of Geely Emgrand can apply to the service of the official dealer, the software update will be free of charge.

Geely Emgrand is the most affordable sedan of the brand in Russia, its price starts from 2.16 million rubles.
