The Organizing Committee of the Friendship Games reported on the preparation of proposals for the dates of the tournament

The organizing committee of the World Friendship Games is preparing proposals for the dates of the tournament. This was reported in the press service of the games on December 2.

The message of the organization notes that in addition to preparing dates, the organizing committee is developing a new roadmap for the games.

Earlier in the day it became known that by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin the World Friendship Games were postponed until a special order of the Russian leader.

The World Friendship Games are international sports competitions in 35 sports. Putin signed a decree to hold them on April 19. The event was scheduled in Moscow and Yekaterinburg for September 15-29, 2024. But on August 23, it became known that the games were postponed to the summer of 2025 or 2026.
