In the US, a 17-year-old hockey player died during a charity match


In Bethpage, New York, USA, 17-year-old Connor Kassin died after passing out on the ice during intermission at a hockey game. The game in which he was participating was dedicated to a high school graduate who died as a result of a car accident. This was reported on December 2 by the American broadcaster CBS.
"According to Nassau County police, Connor Kassin, a senior at Massapequa High School, was playing with the varsity team Saturday night at the Oyster Bay Ice Center in Bethpage when he collapsed on the ice during intermission," the publication says.
It is noted that Kassin was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation before medics arrived. After he was taken to the hospital, where they stated his death.
According to the police, the cause of death of the teenager has not been established. The investigation continues.
Earlier, on November 29, in the Republic of Tatarstan, a teenager died after a physical education lesson. A criminal case was opened on the fact of causing death due to negligence. The minor felt sick after a physical education lesson in Almetyevsk polytechnic technical school, after which he was hospitalized in a medical institution, where he died some time later.
