Shares of Baltika Breweries, which are owned by Carlsberg, have been withdrawn from the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency. The corresponding decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin is posted on the official Internet portal of legal information.
98.56% of Baltika, which belonged to Carlsberg Sverige Aktiebolag, 1.35% - Hoppy Union LLC, 0.09% - Carlsberg Deutschland GmbH were excluded from the list of assets, in respect of which temporary management was introduced.
In July 2023, the head of state signed a decree transferring Baltika's foreign stakes to Rosimushchestvo. Later Russian assets of Carlsberg received a new head, who became Taimuraz Bolloyev.
Carlsberg Group produces beer under the brand names Carlsberg, Tuborg, Kronenbourg 1664 and others. The company decided to transfer its business and leave Russia in 2022.
