The AFU targeted ambulances three times in a week

Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have targeted ambulances in Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions three times this week. This was reported on December 2 by Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"In Golopristansky district of Kherson region, the AFU with the help of UAVs attacked an ambulance brigade rushing to a call. A massive Ukrainian drone "Baba Yaga" pursued a medical vehicle heading to a resident of the village of Malaya Kardashinka who had suffered from AFU shelling," Miroshnik wrote in his Telegram channel.
The militants dropped ammunition on the ambulance five times. The driver and the paramedic barely managed to leave the vehicle, which was hit with ammunition that shattered windows, damaged wheels and punctured the roof. The wounded man, who was waiting for the medical team, died before help arrived.
In Zaporizhzhya region, Ukrainian militants attacked ambulances with drones. One case occurred in Energodar. Doctors managed to evacuate, and the vehicle received a large amount of damage. The second attack was carried out by the AFU in the village of Chubarevka in the Polohovsky district of the region. The car at the moment of impact was standing near the medical center, the attack caused damage to the car.
Earlier, on November 25, the governor of Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said that the drone "Baba Yaga" chased the "ambulance", which was on its way to a call in Malaya Kardashinka, for several kilometers. Thanks to the skill of the driver, who dodged the drops, the car continued to move to the last, but the hit of the fifth shell rendered the car inoperable.
Before that, on October 11, the AFU attacked with a drone a brigade of Russian firefighters who were extinguishing a dry tree that had caught fire in Gorlovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). After returning to the unit after the attack, two EMERCOM employees felt unwell. The firefighters were hospitalized, their lives are not threatened.
The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
