In Poltava, an employee of the territorial manning center threatened to poke out the eye of a man subject to military service with a pen. This was reported by Verkhovna Rada MP Artem Dmytruk in his Telegram channel on December 2.

He published a video of the incident. The footage shows a man trying to explain that he is unfit for service due to poor eyesight, to which the TCC employee threatens him.

In the network there are widespread images of Ukrainian TCC employees often beating and using force against men of mobilization age, as well as taking them away from their workplaces in an unknown direction.

On the same day, a captured AFU militant told about being held in the TCC for four days. The Ukrainian military man said that he came to the TCC to undergo a medical commission, where he was promised to be released home, but he was left in the TCC and then sent to the 157th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian army.

Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men aged between 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country.
