In Berlin, 44 schoolchildren were injured due to tear gas sprayed on them

In Berlin, an unidentified person sprayed tear gas in an elementary school, causing 44 schoolchildren to be injured. This was reported by the German magazine FOCUS Online on Monday, December 2.

Children complained of irritation of the eyes and respiratory organs. It is noted that 22 children were hospitalized, the condition of one of them is assessed as serious.

Police are investigating what happened.

Earlier, on November 25, Senior Assistant Prosecutor in Krasnoyarsk Krai for media relations Olesya Klimova said that the number of children who were hospitalized with poisoning at the school in Kansk, increased to 37.

The poisoning of schoolchildren in a school in Krasnoyarsk became known on November 20. It was reported that all children had eaten in the school canteen the day before. Preliminarily, the victims were diagnosed with acute intestinal infection. On this fact a criminal case on rendering services that do not meet the requirements of safety of life and health of consumers was initiated.

Later, the Prosecutor's Office of Krasnoyarsk region reported that the cause of poisoning of students was salmonellosis. The father of the poisoned child told Izvestia that all the schoolchildren hospitalized with poisoning had different symptoms and different health conditions.
