"Moskvich" fulfilled 78% of the annual plan by December

Moskvich automobile plant from January to November fulfilled almost 78% of the sales plan for the entire 2024 year. This follows from the data on car sales and statements of the company's representatives.

Thus, sales of "Moskvich" cars since the beginning of the year amounted to 21 thousand units, of which 3 thousand cars were sold in November, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the car plant.

At the same time in August, Maxim Zlatokrylets, commercial director of the capital car plant, stated that Moskvich adheres to the plan on the volume of car sales in 2024 at the level of 27 thousand units and plans to keep prices for cars at least until the end of 2024.

In February, Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KamAZ, said that Moskvich was not producing cars in the volumes originally estimated. In 2024, the plant planned to produce 50 thousand cars, but the break-even level is reached at the production of 40 thousand cars per year, he noted.

November 18, it became known that the car plant "Moskvich" may postpone the start of sales of a new seven-seat crossover with the index 8 next year. This forecast was shared by the director of retail sales AG "Avilon" Ilya Petrov. According to him, it is expected that the cost of the novelty will vary from 2.8 million to 3 million rubles depending on the equipment.
