Four fifth-graders hospitalized because of a pencil in North Ossetia


Four fifth-grade students of an Ossetian school were hospitalized because of a pencil. This was reported by the Minister of Education and Science of RNO-Alania Ella Alibekova on December 2.
It is specified that the incident occurred at a math lesson in educational institution No. 2 in Chermen.
"During a math lesson in the 5th grade children were drawing a segment, the teacher asked to take out pencils. One of the students took out a certain plastic pencil. Immediately there was a sharp odor, four pupils felt ill," Alibekova wrote in her Telegram channel.
The children were hospitalized. At the moment their condition is stable, the Minister said. According to her, specialists are working at the school.
Earlier, on November 29, in the Republic of Tatarstan, a teenager died after a physical education lesson, a criminal case was opened. It was specified that the minor felt sick, after which he was taken to a medical center, where after some time he died. At the moment appointed forensic examination to establish the cause of death of the teenager.
