Izvestia will discuss opportunities to increase the availability of genetic testing at the Izvestia IIC

OnDecember 4 at 13:00, the press center of Izvestia International Center will host a press conference of the All-Russian Society for Rare (Orphan) Diseases on the topic "Genetic testing as a part of healthcare".

The participants will talk about increasing the availability of genetic testing for all categories of patients, ensuring an ethical approach and confidentiality of personal data, the importance of integrating genetic testing into the healthcare system, methods of raising awareness about the opportunities and risks of genetic testing:

- Larisa Minaycheva, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Deputy Chief Medical Doctor of the Genetic Clinic of the Research Institute of Medical Genetics of Tomsk NIMC.
