The fact of a fire on the territory of penal colony No. 2 in Yaroslavl region will be checked. This was reported on December 2 by the Department of the Federal Service for the Execution of Punishments (UFSIN) in the region.

"On the fact of occurrence of fire on the territory of the correctional colony № 2 in the UFSIN of Russia in the Yaroslavl region appointed an official check", - stated in the message of the agency.

Employees of the penal system of the region and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Yaroslavl region jointly eliminated the fire.

It is specified that there are no casualties as a result of the fire.

The fire in the penal colony № 2 in Rybinsk in the Yaroslavl region became known earlier in the day. The fire was localized on the area of 1.2 thousand square meters. m. The causes of the fire and the damage caused are being established.
