Two shops with illegally harvested crab were closed in the Murmansk region

Two artisanal workshops for temporary holding of illegally harvested Kamchatka crab were found in Murmansk and Ura-Guba. The products were intended for delivery to the central regions of Russia, reports the press service of the FSB Border Guard Department for the Western Arctic region on Monday, December 2.
Law enforcers seized 329 live specimens of crab weighing more than 941 kg. All crustaceans were released into the natural habitat, writes IA "Beeport".
Against the organizers of the workshop initiated cases of administrative offence. The question of initiation of criminal proceedings is being decided. A check is being conducted.
