The FSB detained a resident of Transbaikalia involved in a terrorist group


A local resident suspected of involvement in terrorist activities on behalf of Ukrainian special services has been detained in Transbaikalia. This was reported on December 2 by the press service of the FSS of Russia in the Transbaikal Territory.
According to the agency, the 47-year-old man was a member of a banned terrorist group, condemned the actions of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) and called for a violent change in the constitutional order.
"The suspect conducted psychological actions via the Internet by distributing materials discrediting the actions of the Russian Armed Forces and authorities in connection with a special military operation, as well as calls for a violent change in the foundations of the constitutional order," the regional FSSB said in a statement.
Earlier, in September, in Donetsk, the FSB detained a local resident suspected of involvement in terrorism on behalf of the Ukrainian security services. A criminal case was initiated under Articles 205.4, 205 and 30 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organization of a terrorist community and participation in it", "Terrorist act", "Preparation for a crime and attempted crime").
