The average age of a Chinese car owner in Russia has been named


The average age of a Chinese car owner in 2024 is 44 years. In 2019, this indicator was 53 years old. This is reported on December 2 by the analytical agency "Avtostat" based on the results of a survey of more than 5.6 thousand respondents.
Five years ago, the ratio of men and women among owners of cars from the PRC was 73% to 27%. By 2024, women have become more loyal to cars of Chinese origin: their share increased to 37%.
Among those owners of car brands from China who have higher education, the share increased from 51% to 79%. The share of those who have specialized secondary education decreased from 36% to 11%.
The survey also revealed that over the past five years among such car owners there have been fewer owners of such working specialties as driver (from 24% to 5%). The share of specialists (engineers) has grown from 23% to 29%. The growth of middle managers (department) was even more significant - from 16 to 29%.
On November 27, auto expert Alexander Smith dispelled myths about quickly rusting Chinese cars. According to him, modern cars of brands from China, contrary to a common misconception, do not rot in the first year and do not "blossom bugs" from a small chip.
On November 25, car service experts said that drivers of Chinese cars are most often concerned about failures of multimedia systems, touch screens, parktronic, radar, rearview cameras and climate control systems. There is also a gradual increase in the number of visits for oil changes, tire service and other minor repairs.
