The Syrian Armed Forces reported the elimination of more than 400 terrorists in Aleppo and Idlib

More than 400 terrorists have been eliminated in Aleppo and Idlib by strikes of the Syrian Armed Forces (AF) and the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) in recent hours. This was reported by the Syrian Army's General Command on December 2.

"High-precision strikes carried out by our armed forces in cooperation with friendly Russian forces led to the elimination of more than 400 terrorists, including several foreign nationals, in the last hours," the text of the statement in the Telegram channel of the SANA agency is quoted as saying.

It is specified that during the day Russian and Syrian servicemen continued to carry out air, missile and artillery strikes on positions, warehouses, supply lines and routes of movement of terrorists in the vicinity of both provinces.

At the moment, the Syrian Armed Forces began advancing in several directions in Aleppo, Idlib and Hama provinces to dislodge terrorists, the command pointed out.

On December 1, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Enemy Parties in Syria said that over the day the Russian Armed Forces and the Syrian military destroyed at least 320 militants and 63 pieces of equipment during the operation to repel terrorist aggression in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said at the time that his country is capable of defeating terrorists with the help of allies and friends and will do so with the language of force.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi called the activation of terrorists in Syria part of the US plan amid Israel's defeat in Lebanon. In turn, the White House denied its involvement in what is happening. In addition, Britain, the United States, France and Germany called on all parties in Syria to de-escalate.
