Improper use of dichlophos caused the poisoning of a family near Krasnoyarsk

The cause of poisoning of a family in Krasnoyarsk region, which resulted in the death of four children, was the improper use of dichlofos. This was reported to Izvestia on December 2 in the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.

According to the agency, poisons from dichlophos, which was chaotically sprayed by the head of the family, got on all surfaces of the house and things. According to experts, the penetration of insecticides on clothes, toys, household items caused the death of minors.

At the moment, the father of the dead children is on the case as a witness, clarified in the IC.

"As part of the investigation of the criminal case will be given a legal assessment of the actions of the father of the deceased children. The investigation continues", - stated on the website of the Department.

On the same day it was reported that the cause of the poisoning of the family was an insecticide agent.

The poisoning of a family with four children in the village of Krasnaya Sopka Krasnoyarsk region was reported on September 21. The family sought medical help at the hospital with signs of nausea and vomiting. As a result of a sharp deterioration of health, the minor brother and sister died. Later, on September 22, the third child died, and on the 23rd - the fourth. In the State Investigation Department of the Investigation Committee of Russia for the region said that at the time of the incident, the mother of the dead children was nine months pregnant.

In connection with the incident, a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Production, storage or sale of goods and products that do not meet the safety requirements of life or health of consumers, causing the death of two persons by negligence").
