Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. You can track the progress of the joint troops of Russia, the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR), as well as see a map of military operations for December 2 in the Izvestiya piece.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Russian Armed Forces (AF) struck at energy facilities, infrastructure of military airfields that support the Ukrainian military-industrial complex (MIC), as well as control points for drones.

The "West" group of troops repelled nine enemy counterattacks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost up to 490 militants, and in the area of responsibility of the "East" group the enemy lost up to 150 militants.

In addition, the Dnipro group of forces destroyed up to 55 AFU fighters and an ammunition depot, while the fighters of the Center group improved the position along the front line, repelled nine counterattacks, the AFU lost more than 525 servicemen, four Kozak and MaxxPro armored vehicles.

In the area of responsibility of the "South" group, the enemy lost up to 260 military personnel, three vehicles and a 122-millimeter Gvozdika self-propelled artillery unit (SAU).

It is also reported that Russian air defense means (air defense) shot down 69 AFU drones over the past day.

A total of 649 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 37,082 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 586 anti-aircraft missile systems, 19,590 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,497 multiple rocket launchers, 18,847 field artillery and mortars, 28,935 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
