The Russian Armed Forces (AF) have launched strikes on energy facilities, infrastructure of military airfields that support the work of Ukrainian military-industrial complex (MIC) enterprises, as well as on drone control points, accumulations of personnel and equipment in 127 areas. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 2.
It was specified that the strikes were carried out by operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile troops and artillery of groups of troops of the Russian Armed Forces.
In addition, it was reported that Russian air defense means shot down a shell of the HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system and 69 Ukrainian drones. In total, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 37,082 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) since the start of the special operation.
Earlier, on November 30, the Russian army hit the infrastructure of military airfields, energy facilities that support the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, and the AFU's manpower in 132 areas.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
