Investigative Committee named insecticide as the cause of poisoning of a family in Krasnoyarsk region

The cause of poisoning of a family in Krasnoyarsk region, in which four children died, was an insecticide. This was reported on December 2 by the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the region.

"According to the conclusion of experts, the death of four children occurred as a result of acute poisoning by destructive poison (insecticides) of systemic action", - stated in the message of the agency.

It is specified that the commission forensic medical examination made KGBUZ "Krasnoyarsk Regional Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination".

The poisoning of a family with four children in the village of Krasnaya Sopka Krasnoyarsk region was reported on September 21. The family sought medical help at the hospital with signs of nausea and vomiting. As a result of a sharp deterioration of health, the minor brother and sister died. Later, on September 22, the third child died, and on the 23rd - the fourth. In the State Investigation Department of the Investigation Committee of Russia for the region said that at the time of the incident, the mother of the dead children was nine months pregnant.

In connection with the incident, a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Production, storage or sale of goods and products that do not meet the safety requirements of life or health of consumers, causing the death of two persons by negligence").
