The website of the Bolshoi Theater was temporarily inaccessible after the start of ticket sales for the screening of "The Nutcracker" on Monday, December 2.

Online ticket sales began at 10:00 Moscow time. When trying to go to the selection of tickets or enter the personal account there was an error: "Technical work is underway or the site is inaccessible". Also, some users could incorrectly display the number of available tickets.

In December, the theater will present 18 shows of the play "The Nutcracker". The first of them is scheduled for December 17.

As told in the press service of the Bolshoi Theater "Izvestia", serious problems in the work of the site was not found, there were temporary difficulties and bot attacks.

"At the moment, 90% of tickets for December 17 have been sold," - said in the press service of the Bolshoi Theater.

Earlier, on November 25, in the press service of the Bolshoi Theater reported that due to the popularity of the ballet "Nutcracker" the process of selling tickets for its shows this year has changed. Thus, the sale through the box office was canceled and there is an opportunity to purchase some tickets at auction.
