Sobyanin announced the start of the campaign "Good Christmas Tree"

In the capital the charitable action "Good Christmas Tree" has started, within the framework of which it is possible to present a gift to children left without parents, having limited possibilities of health or living in low-income families. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin told about it in his personal blog.

The action will last until February 28. It is possible to fulfill the wish of the child on a site of action, having pressed the corresponding button. In addition, some wishes will be placed in Christmas tree balls, which will decorate Christmas trees in shopping centers, restaurants, hotels. It will be necessary to remove the balloon, fill out the request form, wait for a call from a representative of the NPO and agree on a date for the transfer of the gift to the ward.

"Since the birth of the campaign, we have fulfilled more than 2.5 thousand children's wishes. Dreams of children are very different, but quite feasible - tickets to the theater or amusement parks, sets for creativity, educational games, musical instruments and toys", - said the mayor of Moscow.

The charitable action "Good Christmas Tree" is held within the framework of the project "Winter in Moscow", which started on December 1. This project is called the main event of the season, which will unite all the capital's entertainment until the end of winter. "The largest winter festivals of the capital will organically fit into the project: "Journey to Christmas", "Moscow Estates", "Moscow Tea Party", "City of Light", "Snow and Ice in Moscow" and many others", - noted on the mos.ru website.

On many festival sites will work "Good Houses" of the project "Moscow helps", where will organize the collection of cards and gifts for participants of the special military operation, as well as for children from new regions of the country. On the eve of the New Year it is planned to send 40 thousand sweet sets to children.
