A Rosgvardiya UAV operator destroyed an AFU armored personnel carrier in the Kursk Region

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operator destroyed an armored personnel carrier (APC) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kursk Region. This was reported on December 2 by the press service of the Rosgvardiya, publishing a video of the combat operation.

It is specified that the object was camouflaged. Also near the APC were the positions of Ukrainian formations.

"Technique and personnel of the enemy destroyed," - stated in the message of the agency.

On the same day, an army aviation crew on a Ka-52 helicopter as part of a mixed tactical group launched a strike with air missiles on AFU personnel and a stronghold in the border area of Kursk region. After the strike, the crew performed an anti-missile maneuver at extremely low altitude and released heat traps.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
