The number of dead residents of the social center "Rubicon" in Altai Krai has increased to six. This was reported to "Izvestia" on December 2 in the regional Ministry of Health.

"One patient on the night of December 2 died," - stated in the message of the Department.

Also, the contact patient, who is in hospital number 1 in the city of Rubtsovsk, appeared the clinic of the disease. Doctors have started his treatment.

According to the Ministry of health, at the moment there are 25 people in hospitals. The condition of four patients is severe, three - light, 17 people are in a state of average severity.

November 28, it was reported that the dead and the injured showed signs of poisoning. Later it was reported that the incident was associated with acute intestinal infection. The patients were diagnosed with "acute infectious gastroenterocolitis".

The head of the social center was arrested for two months. The man was charged with a crime under part 3 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements"). His wife said that the infection could have been brought in by one of the guests, adding that her husband was on a business trip at the time of the incident.
