Uragan MLRSs disrupted supply deliveries to AFU units

Uragan multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the motorized rifle unit of the Vostok group of troops have disrupted the delivery of ammunition, materiel and food to Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) units in one of the directions in the area of the Strategic Air Defense Forces. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 2.

After receiving the coordinates of the convoy's movement from scouts, the artillerymen of the Vostok group of troops moved to firing positions and hit the group of Ukrainian troops' convoy with 220-millimeter rockets. Having fulfilled the combat task, the calculations immediately left the firing positions.

"We work mainly on concentrations of infantry and enemy vehicles. We arrived, aimed at the target, deployed the package, fired back, quickly rolled up and left," said a serviceman with the call sign Chupa.

According to the artillerymen, thanks to the coherence of the units, the deployment of the combat vehicle takes record time.

Earlier, on November 25, the servicemen of the Uragan MLRS of the Center group of troops hit the area of concentration of the AFU's manpower and equipment during the performance of combat tasks in the Krasnoarmeysk direction. It is specified that the use of the Uragan MLRS allows for the targeted elimination of ammunition storage bases and equipment concentration sites, as well as cutting off the militants' reserve units from the main forces.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made in connection with the aggravation of the situation in the region.
